FLIP at Welcome Week PDX with PRSG
Join us at Portland Center Stage for Welcoming Week festivities, an international celebration of immigrants' contributions to the U.S. social fabric. This event is across two days on September 18 & 19 and offers a space for immigrants and refugees to showcase their skills, crafts, and businesses while fostering understanding and connection to Portland's community & resources.
This FLIP Museum will be having a table but will NOT be featuring our selection of exhibits.
Our panel discussion on the 19th will explore work done at the state, regional, and city levels to foster a culture of belonging. The conversation will cover small victories and significant achievements in the collective efforts, opportunities to advance immigrant-refugee policy, and ways citizens can support a community of welcome amid a polarizing upcoming election.
This event is brought to you by:
Portland Center Stage (PCS) at the Armory where our festivities will take place.
